gimme space "Kissed by an Angel" was written by Tony Mowbray and Paul Drury and topped the Scottish bookselling charts when it was published in 1995, pushing Irvine Welsh's "Trainspotting" into second place.

It charts the incredible love story of the former Celtic defender and Bernadette Doyle, the Scottish girl he fell for. As their courtship blossomed, Bernadette was told that she was suffering from terminal cancer though she was barely in her 20's.

"Kissed by an Angel" starkly records how she faced up to her terrible fate, supported strongly by the man who was determined to become her husband. The book raised thousands of pounds for The Beatson Oncology Centre Fund, a charity that benefits the cancer centre in Glasgow where Bernadette was treated.

Though the book is now out of print, Media Now has a number of copies which can now be sold at a cost of £9.99 to once more benefit the Beatson fund. To obtain a copy, please send a cheque, crossed and made payable to "Media Now" for £11.50 (to include cover price of £9.99 plus £1.51 UK postage and packing) to Media Now, 9 Bulloch Avenue, Giffnock, Glasgow G46 6NF.
